About Genesis Functional Medicine

Genesis Functional Medicine was founded in February 2020 as a boutique formulation laboratory and product development studio based in Colorado. We specialize in the development of innovative wellness products across the nutraceutical, supplement, and better-for-you consumer packaged goods industries. Our work sits at the intersection of functional medicine, biopharma, nutritional science, and modern product design.

Genesis operates as a white-glove development partner, helping clinicians, founders, and emerging brands transform product ideas into fully realized, market-ready offerings.

Our team includes scientists, functional medicine specialists, herbalists, product developers, and designers who bring together deep experience in formulation science and consumer product development. This multidisciplinary approach allows us to bridge the gap between clinical insight, scientific formulation, and exceptional consumer products.

While Genesis maintains boutique development and pilot manufacturing capabilities in Colorado, we also work closely with a network of trusted ingredient suppliers, laboratories, and specialty manufacturers across the United States. This allows us to scale projects efficiently and deliver specialized capabilities when needed.

In addition to working with brands and founders, Genesis also provides custom formulation and protocol design for individual clients. Through consultations with our in-house network of trusted practitioners and specialists, we design personalized supplement formulas and wellness protocols tailored to the needs of each individual.
